How and why we collect personal information

We may collect personal information from you such as your name, business title and contact details.  We may also use your personal information for research and analytical purposes, to perform administrative functions and to comply with our legal obligations, such as dealing with Regulators.

We typically use your personal information to:

  • provide the relevant service to you and your business;
  • conduct relevant research and improve our services;
  • promote relevant products, services and other benefits to you via marketing communications (including emails, newsletters and other electronic messages);
  • take part in our promotions, competitions, testimonials, surveys or focus groups or otherwise give us feedback or rate our services; and
  • keep our records up to date and accurate.

If you do not provide this information in whole or in part, we may not be able to respond to your request or provide the services you require.

It is usual for us to disclose your personal information within Cartology Pty Limited and its parent company Woolworths Group Limited and to pass this information onto persons, companies or other entities who perform functions or services on our behalf, such as IT services, call centre, gateway providers, or where otherwise required by law. Some of those companies we may disclose personal information to may be located overseas in countries including in New Zealand. We will request that any organisation to which your personal information is disclosed also treats the information as confidential.
