In the largest recognition of Retail Media impact and effectiveness across Australia and New Zealand, the 2025 awards are giving even more brands the opportunity to be recognised across a range of new and existing categories. This year, the AU awards will see brands recognised across Best New Product Launch Campaign, Best Omnichannel Campaign <250k, Best Omnichannel Campaign >250k, Best Omnichannel Campaign BIG W, Best Digital Strategy, Best use of Customer Insight, and new categories; Best use of Creative Canvas, Partner of the Year Award and the overall 2025 Campaign of the Year Award.

“We are incredibly excited to officially launch our 2025 Campaign of the Year awards program, a recognition program that our clients have truly come to know and love," said Cartology’s Client Partnerships Director, Tony Prentice. "This is the Retail Media Awards program of the year. We are genuinely inspired by the exceptionally high calibre of entries year after year, that demonstrate the cutting-edge innovation and strategic thinking happening in Retail Media. This program isn't just about celebrating success; it’s a direct reflection of our unwavering commitment to delivering and supporting Retail Media effectiveness, helping our partners achieve measurable impact."

2024 winner Mutti, walked away with the gong for Best Omnichannel Campaign <250k in addition to the overall 2024 Cartology Campaign of the Year win for their omnichannel campaign that set out to educate shoppers on the distinct use of their products. Mutti engaged customers with recipe inspiration and clever creative that seamlessly bridged the online and in-store shopping experience and drove a 61% increase in weekly sales, with more than 73,000 new customers.

Commenting on the campaign, Mutti Head of Marketing ANZ, Samantha Filocamo said “We’re a fast growing brand competing with established competitors so our budgets need to work hard and through this campaign, we were really excited to do something so effective and use our creative efficiently. We’re really excited about how we can ladder our marketing activity all the way through the line. Our pasta sauce campaign aligned to “winter warmers” really goes to show the effectiveness of Retail Media. Big budget or small, if you know customers and put in an effective planning strategy, with impactful creative, you can drive incredible and award winning results.”

Award nominations for 2025 are now open via Cartology, with the awards night to be held on 13 November.
